Hello there, my name is Peter Haken and I am a 40 year old Urban Photographer from Cheltenham in England
I have been interested in photography for longer than I can remember and started with a Zenith film camera in my childhood. For me it was a hobby that enabled me to capture and collect images of my main interest, and that has always been the natural world and urban life.
My work as a website designer uses digital photography in every site so i have had to learn many new skills. This website is the next step in my photographic career.
Like most other people interested in the natural world, I grew up watching wildlife documentaries and this gave me my interest in wildlife watching and nature photography.
Living in many different cities has inspired me with a love for urban and street photography... people are too busy in their life's and miss so much just walking down a street, so i like to capture the pictures people miss.
I am very passionate about Black and White photography and this is my preferred medium to work in.
