Urban street photography

Using depth of field, patterns, shapes, light and shadow, I hope to re-kindle in the viewer an empathy for the objects or people I photograph, or to view them as a personification of a part of themselves.

Living in different cities has inspired me with a love of urban street photography. People are too busy in their life's so they miss so much, I like to capture the pictures people miss.

I feel that the concrete and asphalt of a city coupled with the elements imparts a cold and lonely feeling that is further accentuated by the tonalities of a black and white photograph. The city is rife with still life's and juxtapositions, waiting to be photographed.

Location portrait photography using natural light, capturing that moment that tells a story.

Investing a little in me will help my photographic journey of capturing new images for us to enjoy and share.
